Cuisine

  PWC Care are proud of the cuisine we offer in our homes. Menus are built around the availability of fresh produce which is all sourced locally and are alternated every four weeks in order to provide a varied and appetising offering. Meat is sourced from the local and established butcher in Preston "A. Jones and Sons"; fresh fruit and vegetables are supplied by "Coniston Farm Shop" and all other groceries come from local suppliers.  
  All food is cooked on the premises and is fresh daily. Diabetic, low fat and soft diets can be catered for and prepared individually, other dietary needs will be discussed prior to admission. Menus are varied and interesting as well as being nutritionally well balanced. Meals can be taken in the resident’s own room or in the dining room. Meal times are generally run to the following routine:  
     
 
08.00 a.m.   Breakfast of choice in bed or sitting out of bed
10.00 a.m.   Mid-morning coffee
12:00 p.m   Lunch as daily menu
02.30 p.m   Afternoon tea and home-made cakes
04:30 p.m.   Light evening meal
09:00 p.m   Supper of choice and evening drinks
